About Alec

Alec Tebben is passionate about stories and loves to discuss and critique writing projects with peers. His favorite genre to read and write in is fantasy, and his biggest inspirations are the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, George Lucas, and Dave Filoni. He is currently pursuing a career working with words. Besides reading and writing, Alec enjoys listening to rock and metal music and having deep conversations.

Alec graduated from Taylor University in May 2021 with a B.S. in professional writing and minor in creative writing. His studies have immersed him in the disciplines of writing, reading, editing, and communication. He has written fiction, news articles, and blog posts, and has learned to analyze texts of all kinds from the perspective of both writer and reader. He was also a publishing intern at Deeper Walk International and a staff writer for Taylor's student newspaper. He has experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, Final Draft 11, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Reader DC.
